Yesterday was unforgettable.
Thank you to everyone who came, listened, stayed with the sound, and joined the conversation after the performance. We left with full hearts.

Boshoco and Maher Green reunite once again for their new track "Batal," inspired by one of the heroes of the Palestinian resistance who was martyred in battle. The track incorporates direct samples from the hero's voice, layered with contemporary electronic beats, featuring Shafek Yaghi and Omran Abou Yahya on percussions.
"Batal" is featured on the 36-track fundraising compilation "Fake Lines: Sono Levant," a project that transcends colonial borders and brings together artists from Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, Jordan, and the diaspora, alongside guest artists from the region and around the world. The project aims to reconnect the Levant's musical fabric and reaffirm its shared cultural identity. All proceeds will go to support @apnorg 's "Revive G/a/z/a's Farmland" project, with the remainder distributed fairly among the participating artists. Kelvin Bown has worked on and presented in several exhibitions a large number of significant and fascinating images focused on the earliest photography of Bilad Es Sham, the Levant region and beyond He uses the full range of available contemporary digital technologies applied to full resolution scanning of original archival materials, to create windows in time. Kelvin has applied his skills over the years to several hundred images, spanning the whole Levantine region.

This sound was shaped by the dissonance of our times—by the masks, the facades, and the hollow celebrations. It's inspired by the recent "Liberation Day" right here in Damascus, a stark reminder of the heroes that never were.

“Batal” is part of a 36 track fundraising compilation “Fake Lines: Sono Levant”, out October 17 on vinyl and digital platforms.
The “Fake Lines: Sono Levant” compilation confronts this colonial legacy head on, especially as
the ge/n-o/ci/de in G-a/z-a is enabled by the fragmentation of surrounding countries into pseudo
states; products of imperial divide and conquer tactics that leave them stripped of real
sovereignty. Through this collaboration, the project aims to reconnect the musical fabric of the
Levant and reaffirm its shared cultural identity.
Released via Fake Lines, which is a non-profit record label. Most of the proceeds will be
dedicated to supporting the ‘’Arab Group for the Protection of Nature’’ non profit organization.
Which strives for a Levant with food sovereignty, focusing on those who need it the most at the
moment. providing seeds, cultivation, and fair access to markets for farmers, while the rest is
fairly distributed among the participating artists...
