Presentation of drinks and kola nut is one of the oldest way of traditional entertainment in Africa. It’s a process where kola nut is presented to a visitor or visitors base on numbers or presented in a ceremony as a traditional way of saying welcome and this gesture is reciprocated by traditionally accepting it by somebody from the midst of those entertained. But are you are aware that in Okpe Kingdom when an Okakuro (Chief) present drinks and kola nut to you or group of persons, it is only a Chief from your midst that can accept it traditionally but if there is no Chief in your midst the Chief who presented it will accept it on your behalf or delegate somebody from your midst to accept it or he can also ask somebody from his own side to accept it. So if you are not a Chief, and he gives to you he is in charge and if you also give to him, he is still in charge. So it is a Chief to Chief thing, age does not matter in this case.
