Il Musée des Confluences @musee_des_confluences e il @mudec_official , Museo delle Culture del Comune di Milano, hanno appena avviato una partnership pluriennale. Questa collaborazione mira a sviluppare l’offerta culturale delle nostre due istituzioni e a favorire la circolazione delle opere e delle mostre temporanee.
Perché è importante per le nostre due istituzioni? ➡️ Questo accordo è un modo concreto per scrivere la storia che lega Lione a Milano, città gemellate dal 1967,
➡️ per partecipare alla diffusione culturale a livello transalpino ed europeo,
➡️ per attuare una politica di mostre sostenibili e responsabili
➡️ preparare l’arrivo della linea ferroviaria ad alta velocità Lione-Torino nel 2030

Le @musee_des_confluences et le @mudec_official , musée des Cultures de Milan Comune di Milano, viennent de s’engager dans un partenariat pluriannuel (2027-2034). Ce partenariat vise à développer l’offre culturelle entre nos deux institutions et à favoriser la circulation des œuvres et des expositions temporaires.
💥Pourquoi c’est important pour nos deux maisons ? ➡️ cet accord est une manière concrète d’écrire l’histoire qui lie Lyon à Milan, villes jumelées depuis 1967,
➡️ de participer au rayonnement culturel à l’échelle transalpine et européenne,
➡️ de mettre en œuvre une politique d’expositions soutenables et responsables,
➡️ de préparer l’arrivée de la LGV Lyon-Turin en 2030

We’re pleased to announce that Summer Mei Ling Lee’s large-scale installation, 𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘍𝘰𝘹 𝘪𝘴 𝘢 𝘛𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘢𝘯𝘥, will be included in the group exhibition 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘚𝘯𝘰𝘸, curated by Sara Rizzo and Alessandro Oldani, at the Museo delle Culture di Milano (MUDEC) in Milan from February 12 - June 28, 2026.
𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘍𝘰𝘹 𝘪𝘴 𝘢 𝘛𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘢𝘯𝘥 unfolds across more than a hundred scrolls of transparent gauze. Suspended, layered, and slightly staggered, the drifting veils evoke the sensation of a snowstorm, conjuring a Bachelardian space of reverie. Working with Sumi-e ink, Lee renders faint, slightly holographic images that reimagine narratives about the Taoist Fox Spirit, mythological beings endowed with shapeshifting abilities, manifesting as either benevolent and malevolent forces. Drawing on the life of Tang Dynasty poet, courtesan, and Taoist nun Yu Xuanji (c. 844–868), Lee reframes the Fox Spirit through the lens of the miraculous: a moment of relational spontaneity that seeks to precede and exceed fixed ontological categories.
