Scroll for more... -————————————————————— ASTRACHAN (prounonced Astra-Can) is the surname and solo project of Chicago-based musician Ben Astrachan, whose boisterous and joyous rock-and-roll weaves together the artisanal folk of old masters. Astrachan dips his ladle into a great borscht of mystical and political influence to serve up a kaleidoscopic brew of anti-Zionist, Bundist, diasporic indie rock, self-produced in the candlelit haze of his all-analog basement-bedroom studio. ‘Signs’ is a hymnal to the madness of the Jewish prophets who railed against the follies of the Nation and were banished into spiritual wilderness. It deals with apocalypse in the original sense (revelation, “un-covering”), and asks, what does it mean to be conscripted in a cosmic war? How do we walk the tightrope of justice and peace? And when G-d winks at us through the veil, are we ready to respond? Joining them, ALMOST LOVERS, the local all-star Powerpoppers bring a brand new set to LARY BAR after a long and thought-out stint in the studio cooking us up an all new album (release set for 2027) COME EARLY …and bring your loved ones to this not-to-be-missed event. COMING UP… We couldn’t be more excited for our next concert. New explosive local Italopunk band, SCUSI join us along with tried and tested mega favourites CATHDRALE from Toulouse. CATHEDRALE recorded their latest album, ‘Poison’ last year in Bxl and come back to play it for us for the very first time since. With over 10 years of experience, one EP and 5 albums, CATHEDRALE finds a way to keep evolving and refining their sound so that each time we see them, we experience something exciting and raw, but comfortingly familiar! SCUSI played their first ever show at Le Petit Lion back in February, and what they lack in show experience is more than made up for in their full frontal energy and heady attitude.
