Castelli di carta / Dec. 25
My thesis explores how my generation operates with a singular focus on success and money, and how this mindset minimizes human values and individual growth. This growth should instead be fueled by passion and empathy. My research spans three fields: religion, fashion, and social media. It’s not money that imprisons us, but the belief that without it, we are not worthy of living.
Thanks to these incredible three years, my family, and my passion, which has never ceased to exist.
“Don’t feed the status” is part of a thesis project exploring how, due to modern society and the imaginary goals it imposes on young people, Generation Z grows up focused solely on money, power, and success. This constant, unjustified desire creates a distorted view of what should truly be each of our real goals.
The project examines certain statuses taken as symbols of wealth, both criticizing and admiring them, as if they were animals in a cage.
Don’t feed the status,
or you’ll end up hungry yourself.
