We caught up with @madwilling , an artist equally at home soundtracking the dancefloor and the silver screen. We asked her how she connects the musical dots between scoring Netflix hit “The Crown” and collaborating with Drum and Bass royalty, @dbridge 👑

Excited to collaborate with @polygon.live for a special 360 listening session of Exit Records music on May 16th at Polygon Portal in Soho, London. Presented in spatial audio, That Life, my collaboration with dBridge, and Radical Apathy, Joe Seven’s collaboration with dBridge, will be re-mixed in 360 for an exclusive listening experience. Between the listenings we’ll also be in conversation for a live Q&A. That Life was first performed at the Institute of Contemporary Arts, and as the record has not yet been released, this will be the first opportunity to hear the album since then. Revisiting my Snape Residency at @brittenpearsarts 💭 IN REVERSE, developed with Athena Varosio, unfolded as a 33-minute live composition constructed through movement. The instruments were arranged in the round, inviting the listener into the compositional process, where sound emerged as a spatial condition rather than a fixed form. Moog Sub37, Prophet 5, piano, voice, and flute were continuously interchanged, their interaction shaped through live manipulation and interference.

one of my favourite projects of 2025 is the upcoming MARIPOSA TRAICIONERA “Treacherous Butterfly” film starring @andreariseborough & @karimsaleh.karimsaleh directed by @bonimata 💙 I loved scoring this psychological drama, a complete meditation on restraint and relationships, and wrote one of my favourite cues I’ve ever written for the central scene. Thank you Boni 🙏🏼

On June 5th I will perform a selection of my film score work in a new immersive show centred around narrative storytelling and the motivation of character action. ‘Motiv’ is a collection of moments explored by live electronics, piano and strings. Grateful for the opportunity to perform music cues from some of my favourite film projects and create an evening with support from composer and DJ Kincaid @kincaid_next_of_kin who brings an immersive live AV ambient set with artist Matt Woodham. Taken me a few days to process last Saturday night… Thank you so much to everyone who came to the show and supported us, it means so much to have shared this new music with you.
