To kick things off in this page, I want to share a wedding that sparked something in me. It wasn’t the first I ever photographed, but it was the first real shift in confidence for my work - like I had found my place behind the camera. I will say these two made it very easy. Hi, I’m Madelaine (Mads) 🤍 Thanks for being here and taking a peek through my lens at the world. I wanted a space just for my photography and video - a place to share the moments, stories, and incredible people I’ve been fortunate to capture lately. I’ve had a camera in my hands for as long as I can remember. When I was younger, I’d follow my family, friends, and dog around, making wild edits, filming pretend music videos, and coming up with elaborate photoshoot ideas I somehow convinced people to take part in. Those early days; holding on to moments I never wanted to forget and seeing just how creative (and questionable) I could get. That love grew with time (and became more professional). Life is all about our connections, and for me, so is photography and video. Connection to people, to places, to accomplishments big and small, and to those fleeting, beautiful seconds you wish you could pause forever. There’s nothing better than capturing something so authentic and raw that you can feel it every time you look back. These days, I get to pour that same energy into everything I shoot: lifestyle, sport, business storytelling, landscapes, and architecture. No matter the project, my goal is always to tell your story and make the emotion behind it last.
