I have said this way too many times, but I WILL say it again. Writing for @dhibuninanthomas is a privilege and a joy. The man knows to ask for exactly what he wants, and get the best out of me every single time. Plus his melodies are absolutely glorious, so the words almost write themselves. This song though, is extra special cos this is for a @directorramofficial film. I wrote this one months ago, but only after he sat me down and narrated almost the whole story to me and explained exactly where this song will come. I remember that I was so hooked by the story that I was so pissed it ended. He is another man that knows exactly what he wants, so another layer of fun added to the writing process. Yay. The song's true meaning will hit you only when you watch the movie though. So stay excited for the film.. It is beautiful, even from the limited bits I have seen. She is my eternal lucky charm. @thevishnuvishal and @mamitha_baiju look so cute, but I think the highlight is @kapilkapilanmusic - enna voice this boy has... Okay, this one took a minute to sink in. Winning a state award was most definitely not on my 2026 bingo card. Immense gratitude to the jury for recognising my work in a film that came without any bells and whistles, and quietly made its mark. @dhana236 you’ve trusted me to work in every single project of yours, and winning this award for a film directed by you makes it extra, extra special. Let’s just make this a habit, yeah? To my friends, family, and all my well-wishers, I truly don’t have enough words to thank you all. I promise to always try my best to make you all proud. Thanks again, universe. Keep these surprises coming :)
