Working on a custom firmware to emulate the classic Akai MOC time stretch on a live input signal.
The plugin allows you to write your own C based firmware which compiles to machine then you put into a bank. After teaching myself the pipeline and understanding how the firmware manages samples I put this (admittedly extremely basic) effect together just to see how it sounds
So far it sounds cool on voice or even noise input.

@nick_burgess_techno and I love goth night and the Leland like a person. It was a home, a hub, a safe space, a place to meet new weirdos and share some space w outcasts, circus freaks and loners. It will be sorely missed but I am so incredibly happy to say that the legacy and vibe of that place will be kept alive by @jojo.s.huerta and @joe_cityclub .
They are two of the hardest working people I know in night life that show genuine love and care for the patrons of their spots have opened a new spot and I'm so so happy and even weirdly proud of them for how much it felt like coming home.
I'm writing this with little tears I can't stop because I did feel like I was losing something very tangible in that place, but walking into The Strays and seeing familiar faces and people smiling and the music I love played just made me so incredibly happy.
I hope they get the most success they deserve it. It just goes to show the scene is about a lot but the people who make it up are the key. The folks who show up and roll their fucking sleeves up to make something good.
Friday, February 13th, ARC core members and friends congregate at a secret location for a night of proper unhinged weirdo cuts. DM the artists for location info. DIY or die.
I've been bad abt posting and chores and I have so many to do but I have so much to be greatful for and I'm stoked to play something very personal and special for everyone tonight. I'll be doing something I only ever do alone which is just create beautiful sounds and hang out w them.
I have been a practicing sound designer and composer for many years and have worked very hard to match my gear to what I enjoy listening to and be able to recreate so this will be something pretty to listen to and I'll be improvising over tape delay.
