🐴🧨Galloping into the Year of the Horse 🐴🧨
🧨2026 marks the Year of the Horse, a symbol of energy, freedom, and progress. As Lunar New Year approaches, the city is filled with vibrant celebrations, from float parades to drones and fireworks displays, community performances, and bustling New Year fairs.
✨Parade For Celebration Of The Year of the Horse
On February 19th and 28th, the annual float parade takes center stage. The floats features near 1300 performers from Macao, Hong Kong, Mainland China, Spain, Italy, the Philippines, and South Korea.
🧨The first parade starts at Sai Van Lake Square and heads towards Macau Fisherman’s Wharf, offering a series of exciting performances along the way.
🧨The second Parade is held on February 28th ( the 12th day of the Lunar New Year) at Northern district, starts at 8pm on Rua Norte do Patane, and head towards Iao Hon Market Garden, where a grand finale culture performance will also take place.
The dazzling floats are on display at Macau Fisherman’s Wharf from February 20th to 27th, and at Tap Seac Square from March 1st to 8th, and their lighting installations are illuminated from 5pm to 10pm for citizens and tourists to enjoy.
