STUDIO PROJECT 001: A Raw Look Into Running
Watch with sound.
As running culture takes center stage for our studio research, we showcase here our interpretation of the audiovisual experience from the sport. The story is developed with inspiration from parts of a musical structure, with an intro, a chorus and a break, except without a full resolution to leave the runner’s high up to the audience.
Similarly, the soundtrack follows the storyline and pacing of a run, timed at 180bpm across all three runners. The hi-hats, snares, and kicks are sampled from the field recordings from the shoot, and layered on top of traditional sampled instruments.

BERLIN! We’re kicking off the debut of our creative studio with a community party and exhibition on July 19th from 12.00-18.00 at Lynk & Co. Berlin Club, 21-23 Münzstraße, Berlin.
Come through to check out our exhibition on Berlin based Burmese designers Waiian Aung and Nan Aye Thatar whose work draws inspiration from the textures of Myanmar, alongside a showcase of unique garments and embroidery from Theodoro Amazonas, and a display of exclusive party flyer artworks from our very own Mac Aung.
We’re also blessed on the decks by an eclectic roster of artists @omgdeepa , @dj.lumbago , and @joneswgn to get us charged up for the weekend.
