3 incredibly talented artists from Detroit who I respect immensely. Crazy opportunity.
We disassembled and then reassembled Bryan’s home studio in the middle of @eightfoldcollective to create a modern take on a 70s vibe, as the track blends together indie rap with funk horns and percussion.
Huge shout out to Bryan for helping with the editing, and also to @nate.sturley and @pj_roberts_ for helping out so much on set.

the official video for Give Everybody Hell by @jonpaulwallace and @bryanhiglesias - my personal favorite track on their Footprints EP and also my first time shooting with a black magic and pulling focus manually.
I directed this video alongside Bryan, and I honestly usually hate working with other visual creatives - the idea of “too many cooks in the kitchen” rings loudly for me - but we ended up figuring out a really nice work flow that allowed us both to voice our opinions and land on a congruent creative direction and I think it resulted in a pretty cool end product.
