Excited to get to play with my old friends Shawn Johnston and Aaron Johnston. We’ve been playing songs together since the day we met, and it feels good to get the chance to do it all together like this. It’s been a while since we’ve done it in this kind of setting, and I’m looking forward to a mostly original set with a few covers thrown in. Aaron and Shawn have some great songs and great harmonies, and this feels like the right way to do them.
I’ll be bouncing between electric, pedal steel, and acoustic.
We’re going to have the amazing Daniel Coolik joining us on this one.

Looking forward to heading south on Highway 167 to Vermilion Parish this Saturday to play with Mike Dean and the band at the legendary Richard Sale Barn in Abbeville.
We will be playing a sold out show for the grand reopening after renovations, celebrating 10 years since the Mike Dean Live at the Sale Barn record. Not long after that album came out is when I first started playing steel guitar with Mike, and it was one of the records I leaned on early to learn the style and feel of the band.
Been a fun one to come back around to.

Pulling double duty this weekend playing pedal steel and guitar with both Rebecca Porter & The Rhinestone Roses and Kai Crowe-Getty. Excited to jump in on a few shows as part of Rebecca’s Roll With The Punches Tour, play a couple of supporting sets with my good buddy Kai, and wrap it all up with a duo show, just the two of us, on Saturday.
