In my work, I hope that people can first simply enjoy looking at the image and feel a little brighter.
The paintings reflect emotions that quietly live within us, the feeling of waiting for something, the thoughts we carry silently, and the paths we continue to walk even through struggles, sometimes for someone or something important to us. Through my character LUV, I try to express the movements of the heart that swirl within people, as well as feelings that remain unchanged over time.
These works imagine a world where such complex and sometimes chaotic emotions exist together, gently embraced by a one-tone palette that quietly watches over them.
The plants and flowers symbolize LUV’s feelings and prayers, spreading outward and growing as if those emotions have reached and taken root in the world.
