Currently taking part in two art shows in Macao as part of Art Macao (@artmacao )! One is DOPAMINE: FOUNTAIN OF HAPPINESS, where I’m showing a sculpture in collaboration with Sesame Street (@sesamestreet ), and the other is BEYOND THE FRAME, a group exhibition with a solo-show format. Both exhibitions run until October 15.
Last week, I had the amazing opportunity to visit Macao—it truly felt like a dream. I made friends with artists from around the world and the wonderful local team in Macao. Huge thanks to Linwood (@linwoodlll ) and Ken (@tszwong ) from ARTICROSS (@articross.asia ), and to AJ (@aj_macao ), Josie (@iamjosiehochicheng ), and Hilda (@hildadachl ) from Sands China (@sandscares ) for making it all possible. I completely fell in love with Macao. Can’t wait to go back!
Also, Grafflex (@grafflex ), Don (@donaliokim ), and Pike (@pikepaik ) — let’s grab some drinks next time in Korea!

現在、Art Macau（@artmacao ）の一巻でマカオで2つのアートショーに参加しています。セサミストリート（@sesamestreet ）とコラボした彫刻を展示している「DOPAMIN : FOUNTAIN OF HAPPINESS（ドーパミン：幸福の源泉）」と、個展形式のグループ展「BEYOND THE FRAME（枠を超えて）」です。10月15日まで開催されています。
先週はマカオに呼んでいただき、夢のような日々を過ごさせてもらいました。各国のアーティストや、マカオチームのみんなとも友達になれて最高でした。特にキュレーションしてくれたARTICROSS（@articross.asia ）のリンウッド（@linwoodlll ）、ケン（@tszwong ）、Sands China（@sandscares ）のAJ（@aj_macao ）、ジョシー（@iamjosiehochicheng ）、ヒルダ（@hildadachl ）、本当にありがとう。マカオが大好きになりました。また行きたいです！
あと、Grafflex（@grafflex ）Don（@donaliokim ）とPike（@pikepaik ）は今度韓国で飲もう！

I created the characters for Asahi Group Foods’ Dear-Natura, Slim Up Slim, and Perfect Collagen, now available at drugstores across Japan.
You might also find special versions that come with limited novelty items such as keychains or stickers (available while supplies last). If you happen to spot them at a drugstore, I’d be happy if you could take a photo and share it!

この依頼をコバさんから受けたのが11月。自分が走り出す前。まさか翌月から自分が走り出すことになるとは。
いや、ある意味ではこのFOCUSのデザインの依頼が始まりだったのかも。FOCUS Lightをデザインする以上、少しは山を走るようにならないとな、と感じたのかも。
6月はこれを背負ってスリーピークスに参戦します！
I designed the Answer4 FOCUS Light.
Koba first approached me about this project back in November — before I had even started running myself. I never imagined that just a month later, I’d start running too.
Actually, in a way, maybe this FOCUS design project was the beginning of it all. Maybe I felt that if I was going to design the FOCUS Light, I should at least start running in the mountains a little myself.
This June, I’ll be taking on the Three Peaks race with this on my back!

GALLERY TARGET Presents “COMMON GROUND” in Celebration of BEAMS’ 50th Anniversary
Harajuku-based gallery GALLERY TARGET, knowng for curating and presenting contemporary art by both Japanese and international artists, will host the special exhibition “COMMON GROUND” at BEAMS T Harajuku in celebration of BEAMS’ 50th anniversary.
The exhibition features ten artists from GALLERY TARGET, each of whom shares a longstanding relationship with BEAMS T:
dugudagii / FACE / hi-dutch / JUN OSON / KOICHI YAIRI / KYNE / LY / NAIJEL GRAPH / YU NAGABA / YUSUKE HANAI (listed in alphabetical order)
Under the concept of “BEAMS,” each artist offers a distinct interpretation through newly presented works, all of which will be available for acquisition. In conjunction with the exhibition, a selection of exclusive apparel items inspired by this concept will also be released.
Exhibition will open from Friday, April 24. During the opeinng reception, participating artists will be present, providing a unique opportunity for guests to engage with them directly.
This exhibition represents a convergence of the distinct cultural contexts of BEAMS T and GALLERY TARGET—two entities that intersect in Harajuku, sharing time and space while expanding their respective modes of expression into a unified platform. Bringing together an exceptional roster of artists, “COMMON GROUND” offers a rare and compelling experience.

I’m participating in the group exhibition “16 x 20” at Harman Projects in San Francisco. As the title suggests, this exhibition brings together various artists who each created works on canvases of the same size—16 x 20 inches (40 × 50 cm)—and displays them together in one place.
