To coincide with the screening of OLD KENT ROAD tomorrow, Crack Copies are releasing a limited edition double DVD/CD of the film/soundtrack. Designed by @jacobchabeaux it features a luminous green screen-printed clear case revealing the disc underneath.  Lung Dart's 8 track soundtrack is a playfully reflective series of recordings with dialogue and sound from the film interspersed throughout. Featuring organ, theremin, lo fi footwork, and a cover of You & Me by Penny and the Quarters. Thanks to @crackcopies and @lungdart for all of their hard work throughout the project.  Screen printing by @folium_publishing Edition of 30. Available for pre-order at the screening. Captured over many days spent walking up and down the South-East London road, it stands as a unique record of the people who call the major urban thoroughfare home. Using a simple one person setup to maintain the most intimate and immediate approach possible, Joe engaged in fleeting conversations with locals in the hope they might reveal something to a stranger they hadn’t before; allowing equal space for the mundane, bizarre and profound. During the interviews, filmed across 2017 and 2018, Joe found a wider story about the area and its inhabitants. Typical subjects emerged: men who, while not necessarily homeless, spend a lot of time outside, having formed idiosyncratic lifestyles and perspectives in relation to the world at large.
