Since 2019, this yearly collaboration between @busanshortfilmfest and the Busan Asian Film School has ensured the presence of each filmmaker at the screenings, fostering direct exchanges with audiences. This year’s ‘Rendez-vous with AFiS’ brings together five films that confront abuse, violence, secrecy, and loss—corrosive forces often embedded within social structures—and examine how acts of resistance, emancipation, hope, and faith can alter their course.
