January 2026:
- Turned 30, meaning it’s a new chapter in the book so I could do whatever, including another extreme changes! Still, the only proper sentence would be “let’s fucking go!!!”.
- Finally got to release Flowr Pit’s debut album. Hell yeah. (slide 3 featuring one of the most hopeful lyrics I’ve ever written).
- First self portrait I took this year and the mantra I will carry forever and a day.

The year is ending, so here are some highlights from the past 6 months:
Added another summit from my checklist, and this time it’s Merbabu. Surely one of the best trip companions I had as well tbh.
For that, alhamdulillah.
Renovations started. Renovations done. Going to reintroduce Pepperoni Studio sometime early next year, inshaAllah.
And for that, alhamdulillah.
First time I ever set my feet in Taiwan and Mainland China (Kudos to the whole Grrrl Gang crew!). What’s even more special is the fact that the city I went to was Wuhan. I love both cities, but I especially love Wuhan primarily because the food never misses (hell yeah Ethan!). Istg unlimited 热干面 can really change a man.
And for that, alhamdulillah.
Flowr Pit and Kaveman have begun releasing songs. Some of the burdens I carried with these entities are finally being lifted up. Note by note, chords by chords. I’m ready to write again.
And for that, alhamdulillah.
This year I also get to do my second AND third film scoring. Not only that, both films were featured in one of JAFF’s program, so I got to attend the festival for the first time ever. The vibe is immaculate. Would definitely love to be back.
To the whole Alpa and Anatomi Burung Hantu team; thank you for trusting me in composing the score. I hope we’d meet again in any upcoming projects.
And for that, alhamdulillah.
Lastly, shoutout to everyone I’ve been lucky enough to encounter this year. Shoutout to everyone who has always been around, and had stayed. See y’all around!
