🔥 Opening Night Feature 🔥
May 14th at 6pm
A lawless State of Jefferson. A hunted woman. An ex military drifter with nothing left to lose.🎬
Set in 2029, this gritty sci fi thriller follows a lone protector risking everything to keep a woman safe from a dangerous past that refuses to stay buried. His only ally? Clyde, an A.I. implant that’s more than just code… evolving into something that feels a lot like a true partner.✨
As A.I. becomes part of our everyday reality, this film dives into the blurred line between machine and human connection delivering tension, heart, and just enough “what if” to stick with you long after the credits roll.🎥
Kick off GlowFest with a film that’s intense, timely, and seriously unforgettable. Tickets available now, link in bio! 🎟️🌟🎤🤩🎬 #GlowFest2026 #BlackRoad #DiscoverSiskiyou #theGlow #ScottValley
At a New Year’s Eve party hosted by his ex, Jerald shows up with more than just champagne on his mind, and leaves with a resolution that might just change everything. ✨
An Extraordinary Year, directed by Gary Lundgren, is a quietly bold short film about timing, heartbreak, and the unexpected ways fresh starts find us when we least expect them. 🥳

🎬 Short Film Spotlight: WOW AND FLUTTER
Join us on Day One of GlowFest (May 14th) for a heartfelt screening of Wow and Flutter! A story of adolescent love and heartbreak, underscored by one boy’s deep passion for music.
A coming-of-age journey where emotions hit all the right (and wrong) notes, this short film captures the intensity of first love and the soundtrack that shapes it. 🎶
Don’t miss it on the big screen at GlowFest 🤩🎬🌟🎥❤️ #wowandflutter #glowfest2026 #shortfilm #theglow #discoversiskiyou
In times like these, when the darkness of the world overwhelms and confounds — I sometimes disappear into the light of music. A wonderful piece of writing on an all time favorite song CEREMONY was published today. It’s my favorite kind of music writing, where a work is celebrated by a true fan. Well done Mark Richardson. It’s hard to fathom this being a Joy Division song — where Ian penned the lyrics after a hospital stay and before his suicide. It’s a song that looms between darkness and light, suicide and life, Joy Division and New Order. First recorded in May of 1980, it stands at the gates like a monument to all the great music that would come after. ❤️🎵 These pics are from our visit to the glass museum in Tacoma last August.
This is an all-timer for me, a true indie film that shook me when I first saw it. And, the movie still haunts me as one of those perfect character studies that never got the attention it deserved - even after winning the grand jury prize at Sundance. Tom Noonan wrote, directed, edited and starred in WHAT HAPPENED WAS, and even created the beautiful score himself. I love that he used Voices Carry and wrote such a stunning part for Karen Sillas. And here’s the thing about Tom — he was not only a brilliant actor and filmmaker, but he was generous, kind and thoughtful. For many years he chose to correspond with me, especially during those early film festival days, offering real mentorship and encouragement. He was quick to listen and slow to speak - but when he did, he usually had something meaningful and memorable to say. I’ve found much of what he said about the film industry to be true and prophetic. I was lucky to know him. Sad day. Flights of angels, good sir. 💔

In lieu of regular playlists this year, I’m writing a book that unpacks my filmmaking experiences. I’m calling it Holy Grails : Cultivating Magic and Resonance in Your Creative Life. I’ll post new pages each month. A welcome page is up now, along with chapter one called The Dance. Read for free at the private link in my bio. At the end of 2026, I’ll take it down and assess if it’s something I want to publish or delete. 👀😅 Thanks in advance to those who read and weigh in. 🎬❤️
🎥Let’s get this party started! Come out and support filmmakers who call Oregon home!
