If anyone deserves a full birthday month, it’s Aska. Founder, Board President, full-time volunteer, animal welfare advocate—the list goes on. It truly feels like Aska was put on this earth to help those without a voice. As we all know, Aska lives & breaths animal rescue, canine behavior and sanctuary. If you follow us, she’s probably impacted you or your pets life in one way or another and you might not even know it!

@lulusfund has made an incredibly generous matching gift of $25,000 to
@askasanimals . To Aska’s surprise, an anonymous donor then decided to MATCH that match! Now, from November 1 until December 3, all donations to
@askasanimals up to $50,000 will be matched thanks to these incredible supporters.
But we didn’t want to stop there. In honor of Aska’s birthday, we’re hosting the first annual Pigsgiving Pig Trot on Thanksgiving Day (which is also Aska’s actual birthday!). Join us on the farm for a 5K Fun Run or a 1K Walk around the neighborhood, followed by Pigsgiving, where we’ll feed the pigs, cuddle with puppies, and enjoy coffee and snacks with our community. There’s no better way to celebrate Aska’s birthday than by spending it with the people who make our work possible.
