𝐓𝐄𝐄'𝐃 𝐔𝐏 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐓𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐁𝐋𝐄🏌️: 𝐆𝐎𝐋𝐅 𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐓 𝐂𝐑𝐈𝐌𝐄 𝐒𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐄 𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐒 𝐈𝐍 𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐏𝐋𝐄 𝐁𝐎𝐆𝐄𝐘 𝐉𝐀𝐈𝐋 𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄 🚨 What started as a late-night “joyride” through the Hideaway community ended with three teens behind bars facing multiple felony charges. On May 6, 2026, Lee County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to reports of suspicious individuals stealing golf carts and causing damage throughout the neighborhood and golf course clubhouse. Surveillance video captured the suspects racing through the community before fleeing in a blue Dodge Hornet and red Honda Civic. Thanks to the swift actions of 5th Precinct Crime Section detectives, our Real Time Intelligence Center and investigative technology, detectives quickly identified the vehicles and suspects: 𝐆𝐚𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐥 𝐌𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐳, 𝐏𝐞𝐝𝐫𝐨 𝐋𝐮𝐢𝐬 𝐋𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐳 𝐑𝐨𝐣𝐚𝐬 𝐉𝐫., 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐮𝐞 𝐆𝐮𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐚... 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘤𝘳𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘴𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘦 𝘥𝘪𝘥𝘯'𝘵 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘪𝘵 𝘱𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬 𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘦.🤭 Investigators connected the trio to similar golf cart thefts in Cape Coral, with help from the Cape Coral Police Department, school administrators, and community members. Detectives recovered evidence, obtained confessions from two suspects, and took all three into custody. Detective “Bobs” for Fobs After Felon Dumps and Ditches “I am so proud of the amazing agency members that I have on my team,” said Sheriff Carmine Marceno. “This line of work takes a lot of hard work and dedication. This shows just how far we will go to bring justice to our community members and local businesses.” Last Friday, deputies responded to reports of vehicle damage at an Amazon Facility located on Logistics Drive. Deputies learned that 29 delivery vehicles were found to have been vandalized overnight with slashed tires and punctured vehicle bodies. Additionally, 23 key fobs were missing. Due to the nature of the incident, 4th Precinct Crime Section responded and assumed the investigation. Through strong investigative work, detectives identified a recently terminated employee, 22-year-old Anthony Gillio, as the suspect. License plate reader cameras placed Gillio in the area at the time of the incident. Gilio was quickly located and taken into custody. Detectives later determined that Gillio attempted to dispose of evidence, including key fobs, a knife, and gloves, by throwing them into the Caloosahatchee River. Detective Drinkwater searched the riverbed and successfully recovered several of the items. Gillio was charged with the following: ▪️ Grand Theft 5k-10k ▪️ Two counts of Criminal Mischief ▪️ Tampering with Evidence
