An upbeat Saturday in the best company! At Southern African–inspired @essence.dining pop up @amatorcph , it all started with the two of them—always spreading joy. The guys grew up together, and food has always been what brings them together. #flavours #saturday #delicious #cph #cphpopup

If you know me well, you know that my love for brunch really began in New York. Before moving there, I was more of a breakfast person—curious, always eager to try something new. But New York shifted something in me. The city had a way of turning brunch into an experience—long, vibrant, stretching from late morning into the afternoon. What struck me, though, was that while brunch culture thrived in cafés and restaurants, it wasn’t as common to invite people into your home for it. So I did. It became my way of bringing people together—sharing my love for cooking while creating a sense of community. Sometimes it was just a few people, other times it grew into gatherings of 30, depending on how the invitation evolved. It was never just about the food; it was about connection. When I moved to Copenhagen, that tradition stayed with me but took on a slightly more refined expression. I were still hooked on the idea of a slower, more intentional way of eating—spending hours around the table, moving from savory to sweet, letting conversations unfold naturally. It became a space to connect, to host, and to share something meaningful. Then, when I developed a sensitivity to gluten, my baking came to a halt. Instead, I found joy in sourcing beautiful sourdough bread to serve my guests. But recently, something shifted again. I’ve managed to create gluten-free sourdough buns that are so good even those who eat gluten don’t question them. And with that, my energy and happiness for baking have returned. Now, I find myself back in that creative space—experimenting, sharing, and serving dishes like a rich Basque-style cheesecake topped with lemon curd. For me, it has never just been about the food. It’s about creating moments, sharing love, and bringing people together around the table. #creativity #cooking #bringpeopletogether #brunch

Slow days in a bikini by the pool, long walks along the beach in a remote seaside village. Tuning into the rhythm of nature, unwinding, and finding beauty in the simple moments at a little hidden hotel... a vacation that created a sense of inner peace… #beach #slowdays #vacationmode #travl

Golden light over Imsouane, freedom in its purest form, and a dream realized. Surfing is addictive—so be careful if you don’t want to catch it. This video can be very persuasive. 🌊 #freedom #goldenhourglow #addictive #surf

The traveler and the traveler’s hat. A reminder. A souvenir. Found in Otavalo at the colorful Otavalo Market in Ecuador. A companionship that began in 2019. Since then, we’ve crossed continents — wandering South America more than once, standing in the red earth of Rwanda, and now walking beneath the sun of Morocco. It’s more than a hat. It’s a statement piece. A quiet anchor in unfamiliar places. It gives me peace. It lets me be me — wherever the journey goes.
