Our good friends @essence.dining are back to pop-up with a five-course dinner inspired by the past months spent cooking and eating in their homeland, South Africa. Expect food that’s bold, fresh, gently acidic, and wholesome, with touches of fire running through it. We’re excited to welcome Essence Dining to Meuse Farm for a special one-night collaboration.
Chefs David and Luke, lifelong friends originally from South Africa, bring a shared background shaped by farm life and years spent cooking in Copenhagen, at the Michelin-starred Alouette and the respected Fiskebaren. Their cooking reflects their South African roots, combined with Mediterranean and New Nordic influences, with a focus on locally-sourced produce and bold, honest flavours.
For the evening, they’ll present a five-course menu built around ingredients from our farm and local producers, alongside a welcome drink. Expect a balance of refined dishes and fire-led cooking, shaped by the season and the place.
Creation Wines will also be joining, with wines available to pair or enjoy by the glass.
