📖Another small case study of mine. This time I created a minimalist book cover for fictional contemporary artist Naira Selin, specialized in sculptures and art installations. Throwback to the artwork I created for @project_operator at @saasfeepavillon back in February. Wanted to capture the raw energy of the night—distorted typography, organic acid shapes, and bold contrasts to match the electro-heavy lineup. Really enjoyed pushing my style further with this one. 🌿✨🚲 . . . . Vegan waffle recipe: Ingredients: • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour • 2 tbsp sugar (or maple syrup) • 1 tbsp baking powder • 1/2 tsp salt • 1 1/4 cups non-dairy milk (almond, soy, or oat) • 1/3 cup melted coconut oil (or vegetable oil) • 1 tsp vanilla extract Instructions: 1. Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer’s instructions. 2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. 3. In a separate bowl, mix the non-dairy milk, melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract. 4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed—don’t overmix! 5. Lightly grease your waffle iron if necessary, and pour the batter into the waffle iron, spreading it evenly. 6. Cook until golden brown and crisp, usually 4-5 minutes. 7. Serve with your favorite toppings like fresh fruit, maple syrup, or vegan whipped cream. I recently got my hands on two original Artemide Tizio Lamps from back in the 80s. Both of them had some technical issues and had to be fixed. During the process I learned a lot about this design classic that was originally designed by Richard Sapper.
