Está es una de las piezas donde he estado experimentando un poco más con elementos gráficos sin tanto detalle, centrándome en el color y evaluando la pieza con o sin textura. About the DDM Target collection and Mini Ofrenda 🏵️ 💀🏵️ 💀🏵️
Hey banda first of all thank you for your messages and emails about the Día de Muertos collection and specially about the Mini Wooden Ofrenda Box. Your response has been so overwhelming that I thought it would be better to write you this post.
I am so happy to hear that all of you are so excited about this item and I’m sorry if you couldn’t get one for Día de Muertos specially if you went to 3 or 5 stores.
As much as I would love to give you a Mini Ofrenda to each one of you, in this case I was in charge of the design for this collection and @target is in charge of production, distribution and sales of the items.
If you don’t get one please do not feel sad or discouraged when making your ofrenda. The most important aspect of it is giving your own touch and meaning to it, always honoring your loved ones who have passed with flowers, family photos, food, Papel Picado, drinks or anything that brings back memories we cherish in our hearts and souls.
I love that many of you have shared with me your ofrendas adding some of the items from the collection and I encourage you to keep sending/sharing them now that we’re so close to the celebration! Enjoy Día de Muertos with your family and thanks again for your amazing response and support. Junto al Foro por Madrid y el Ayuntamiento de @madrid se inauguró oficialmente Ciudad de Mañana | Tomorrow City | Cidade Amanhã, una de las dos exposiciones que conforman la 8ª edición de Madrid Gráfica Abierta.
Esta muestra es el resultado de una convocatoria internacional. La asociación @iberoamericadisena seleccionó los carteles más creativos y significativos que vistieron el mobiliario urbano de la ciudad, tomando en esta ocasión la Plaza de Juan Goytisolo (frente al Museo Reina Sofía).
Agradecimieto especial a @jcdecaux_es , CAF -banco de desarrollo de América Latina y el Caribe- por hacer posible que el diseño dialogue directamente con el ciudadano en el espacio público.

@favinipapers , PLUG association @fondazionetime2@printclubtorino@itcilo@graphicdaystorino and @camcomtorino were the official partners for the design and organisation of the celebrated Posterheroes competition, now in its 14th year.
Luis Pinto @luispins was commissioned by @saffronroadfood as part of their artist collaboration series, in which animal illustrations were created to represent the heritage and cuisine of different countries. Luis illustrated and animated a hummingbird, an iconic animal in Mexican visual culture, and the illustration is used on packaging for the brand’s Mexican-inspired foods.
