Met two of my heroes today at @hope93gallery — two amazing men, @misanharriman and Mo Hamz (cancelled here by the Met@ gremlins). Both extraordinary advocates for justice, freedom and Palestine. It was a privilege and honour to speak to them both — and to see Misan’s brilliant photographs of so many protests, which made me cry. They are SO moving. If you’re in London and anywhere near Oxford Circus tube, please do go and see the exhibition.

Proud to have marched in London with @milton_keynes_psc — the loveliest bunch of people you will ever meet, who all took such beautiful care of me and my creaky bones today. Such an amazing gathering of people of all ages and ethnicities, good humoured, but also focused and determined to protest for justice and accountability for a 🆓 🇵🇸. There may be the start of a ceasefire, but silence is not an option. We need to keep speaking up and speaking out.

Lately I haven’t been marking the turn of the seasons so much here. But it’s an important part of my life, so here’s what I just planted. 10 sorts of daffodils 🌼, fritillaries, crocus, aconite, 60 different wildflowers including yellow rattle to keep the grass down, primroses, and cowslips. My lovely OH is a neat freak and will mow everything remotely grasslike round the house given the opportunity. So we came to an arrangement. These two strips will be beautiful but untidy — and stay that way! I’ll post the progress come the spring — hopefully this will bloom in succession from February till at least July. I’m calling this my crone rebellion meadow! Long live the birds, bees and butterflies who will benefit. 🐦 🐝 🦋 🌺

I cannot even express how wrong this is. Yes. We bloody well do! Our freedoms of speech, protest, and so much else, enshrined in law and embedded in our very souls, implicit within us at every moment. We cannot let this travesty of a Home Secretary take that away from us with her weasel words, and her police state actions to change the law on protest. As I’ve been away for a while it’s probably time for another one of these, to appease the mighty algo. I chose the song deliberately. We should all be stepping into our power, speaking out. We are stronger together, always — the one within the many. Those of you who know me are very aware that I embrace both my inner and outer crone, feeling the immense power of no fucks left to give, not caring about the consequences of speaking truth to power, harnessing my sacred rage to uplift others. This is where wisdom lies, and yes, the patriarchy should be very afraid of those millions of us who are at this stage, unleashed and not taking any shit from anyone. We WILL prevail. 🆓🇵🇸
