A little update from home life. We have moved back home to where I grew up, and so far, we are all loving it here. But I’m so surprised by the amount of nature that surrounds us. We currently have 5 baby robins living in our letter box, a hedgehog that roams our garden at the same time every night, tadpoles in the pond and fields upon fields on our doorstep. I spent most of my adolescence dreaming of escaping here, and now I’m back, I think it’s wonderful.
Extremely excited to announce I’ll be coming to Ireland for a couple of shows this summer! Tickets on sale now via link in my bio.

Moments from London, Birmingham and Bristol.
I’ll have more to say, but for now just wanted to say thank you to everyone who came, to my incredible band, to @margaret_glaspy for her support.
It’s been a blur of joy and chaos and an overriding feeling of happiness to be back playing these shows.

Halfway through this tour already, feeling all the emotions being back playing. Meeting you all, going to bed too late, missing the kids, remembering that I can do this… London @unionchapeluk tomorrow and on to Birmingham, Bristol and Brighton. Also I love my band and crew!

Edinburgh and Gateshead you were glorious, and kind and warm. Was lovely meeting you at merch after the show. Feels like I’m remembering how this feels again. Manchester this evening and then home to the kids for a couple days.

Yesterday was such a whirlwind. After not being on the road for so many years, it felt very surreal in so many ways. Think I had a bit of PTSD doing my vocal warmups, but being back playing music and seeing all your friendly faces was such a treat. Big love to you all in Leeds, was such a beautiful, welcoming experience for me. And of course, my band and crew, thanks for being here with me again.
Right let’s do it all over again in Edinburgh tonight.

Going through some of the archives of when I went to South America. As I mention in the second clip - promoters wouldn’t take the risk so I saved my money and stayed with friends and supporters all over the continent. Some things have changed since then but one thing that rings true is how much I always just wanted to play my music for you. That has always been my joy and my priority.
I’m so grateful to be starting tour today, for the first time in a while. Leeds @howardassembleyroom sold out tonight!
Set times:
7.45pm - @margaret_glaspy
8.45pm - me
I’ve been practising for the tour next week! I’m so curious to know what songs you would like to hear, I worry I’ll never get the choices quite right. Some of them I feel so vulnerable singing, which in many ways is getting harder not easier as I get older. I am amazed at what my younger self was willing to lay on the line and say in some of these songs. I’m proud of her, but I find some of it hard to sing now.
It’s a reminder that I shouldn’t hide that part of myself, even if it makes me uncomfortable. I remember taking pride in making myself feel uncomfortable and even those who were listening, like I wasn’t scared of anything. I wanted to own all those feelings, not allow them to become bigger than me.
But most of all, I’m excited to see you. It’s been such a long time.
Enjoyed being back in the studio for a couple days. Wanted to be able to share something from there, so here’s a live version of Scared of Loving Wild Again. Full track available over on YouTube now.
