On the last Sunday of the month I host Lucy May Walkerās Writers Round at @the.music.workshop šµ in the beautiful seaside town of Folkestone.
The magic in that room every month is undeniable - but donāt hear it from me, hear it from the amazing community of people who come to watch each and every month x
My wish for 2025 is that it grows even bigger and better so that we get to continue not only filling the room but selling it out, building a reputation and bringing more and more people to this unique music event ā¤ļø

You might recognise Thomas Ashby from playing a corker of a set at Sand & Stone sessions last year, and I actually met Margateās Steven Cope (of Anarcadian) when he played their open mic night at @kipps_alehouse ! He made me laugh out loud with his witty lyrics & I asked him on the spot to play my show.

Lucy May Walker is a Singer/Songwriter based in Folkestone, Kent. Lucy May began her career busking on the streets of London where she was discovered by Jeremy Vine who then invited her onto both his BBC Radio 2 & TV Talk shows.
Lucy has supported the likes of Texas, Wet Wet Wet & Lucy Spraggan as well as selling out numerous shows of her own across the UK. She hosts āLucy May Walkerās Writerās Roundā in Folkestone which regularly sells out.
