this week we said the most painful goodbye to momo, my best friend of nearly 12 years. she declined very suddenly from an aggressive cancer we didn’t know she had til after the fact. my heart is broken, but I’m grateful to have had her by my side — belly up, cuddly, cozy, wide-eyed, and perfect — for as long as I did. she had the sweetest soul, the brightest light, an undeniable magnetism. and I never took her magic for granted
to have known momo was to have loved momo and I’ll love her forever and ever
voted early today and ranked @zohrankmamdani first for mayor. it felt really, really good casting a ballot for someone who actually has a progressive vision for my hometown. it also felt great ranking @brad.lander second, not ranking cuomo at all, and voting for the incredible @chiosse in my district. a huge shoutout to all my friends canvassing and everyone else doing their part to get the word out
