In a culture where wrinkles seem to matter more than environmental collapse, aging is not just a private matter, it defines who is allowed to be seen, heard, and valued. This is especially true for women, whose presence is so often measured by youth and appearance.
This project is a tribute to the incredible women from @aavoveiotrabalhar who have grown older while continuing to move through the world with strength, creativity, and presence. It is about challenging invisibility, and about recognizing that life does not shrink with age, it expands in new directions. Big thank to all these amazing women who were so open and fun to work with.

Journey into the heart of the Brazilian Amazon.
The Huni Kuin Indigenous community of Brazil’s Amazon Rainforest has endured centuries of hardship, from colonization to the rubber boom, which forced them into fragmented settlements. Today, they are reclaiming their culture, passing down rich forest knowledge rooted in ancestral storie sto future generations. Journey into the heart of the Brazilian Amazon.
The photo series “Eskawatã Kayawai” and accompanying film @eskawatafilm created by documentary photographer and cinematographer @lucithehuman over the course of six years follows the Huni Kuin’s journey of resilience and cultural revival, and stands as a testament to their enduring spirit within the Amazon.
The younger generations are carrying on the ancestral tradition of the Galician Carnival.
Entroido or Carnival is a time of transgression, of breaking the rules that regulate ordinary behaviour, a moment during which identity is changed, institutions are satirised and a sense of community is strengthened.
This is a series I’ve been working on for some time. Focusing on this Galician tradition, I seek to reinforce the dialogue between generations and the importance of the youth for the survival of this ancestral tradition.
