LAGOS STATE GOVERNMENT 2026 MINISTERIAL PRESS BRIEFING: MINISTRY OF WEALTH CREATION AND EMPLOYMENT HIGHLIGHTS KEY ACHIEVEMENTS
The Lagos State Ministry of Wealth Creation and Employment participated in the 2026 Ministerial Press Briefing, an annual stewardship engagement organised by the Lagos State Government to showcase achievements, ongoing programmes, and development initiatives aligned with the State’s growth agenda.
The event also marked the third year of the second term of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu’s administration, reaffirming its commitment to transparency and inclusive governance.
During the briefing, the Honourable Commissioner, Akinyemi Ajigbotafe, presented the Ministry’s stewardship report, highlighting key achievements in employment generation, entrepreneurship development, and wealth creation initiatives aimed at expanding economic inclusion across Lagos State.
He also outlined major programmes under the ₦4.444 trillion “Budget of Shared Prosperity,” including empowerment schemes, household uplift interventions, strategic partnerships, and interventions by the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund.
