Getting my solo trip to Uzbekistan featured in @beritahariansg still feels a little surreal. Berita Harian is one of Singapore’s national newspapers, specifically in the Malay language (for those Uzbekistan friends I met during my trip and are on my IG now and might be wondering).
What started as a trip for me to learn how to navigate on my own, to be comfortable with being alone, turned into one of the best experiences I’ve ever had.
I think that’s the funny thing about doing something scary. You go in thinking you’re just trying to survive it… but you come out changed.
I couldn’t have done this without @adibjalal , who supported me from the very beginning, the kindest guides who made me feel safe every step of the way, and my friends who checked in on me constantly.
And especially @eleventhour … who checked on me every single day without fail. That meant more than you know.
Sometimes being “alone” doesn’t really mean you’re alone at all.

Been playing with the new Shake ’N Play Buildable Liquid Blush from @fentybeauty and this was actually the funnest way to test it. If it can survive this, it can survive anything.
What I realised:
• blends out super easily even when applied… like this 😛
• you can go from soft to bold without it getting messy
• lasts like it refuses to budge (even in this heat)
• still feels lightweight hours later
