In the 8 years that we’ve been shooting family portraits with @thelovestudios , this is THE FIRST TIME that we’ve had full attendance of THE ENTIRE FAMILY & ALL the #seahblings!
When @hyydnn asked me if I wanted to shoot our annual Christmas photo, I asked if we could wait till Jan instead when @laiciffo_haesjnodnarb & @netzrot were back for my Dad’s birthday, and as luck would have it, that coincided perfectly with when he was going to be shooting preview shots for the new Veranda set.
Inspired by the timeless charm of an Italian patio setting, this set is available from 7 March - 18 May and bookings have just opened, so you know what to do!

What was @sunda.festival if not the best weekend of music & community ever in the most ulu part of SG that was actually kinda magical?? It’s been almost a week and I’m still reliving all the good vibes from these videos and photos, of which I actually have so many more.

After Charlie was diagnosed with Leukaemia last year, she had to have a “cancer port” surgically inserted beneath her left clavicle to facilitate the intravenous administration of her chemo + other medications.
Since then, she’s been very wary of people being in close physical contact with her, and that extends to giving her hugs because she’s just more sensitive to touch, especially close to her chest area.
This has been particularly tough on Dahlia whose love language is an excessive show of physical touch. All of her attempts to hug or even kiss her sister have been met with uncomfortable yelps and the odd grumble, so she’s pretty much kept her sayangs at bay.
Last night I took the two of them out to a nice dinner, just us three. We played the kids edition of @werenotreallystrangers while waiting for our food and some of their answers were so surprisingly thoughtful and mature, it made me feel so proud. Dahlia was also on exceptional form in the humour department which left Charlie and I in stitches, laughing till we cried.
While waiting for our ride home after, I turned around to witness this rare tender moment between them that I just had to capture for posterity, because believe me when I say that Charlie reaching out to embrace her sister this way almost never happens. When she noticed me taking pictures, she immediately switched to her default position + expression of feigned disdain seen on the 3rd frame.
I get it, honestly. Younger siblings can drive you absolutely crazy. Add to that the fact that your body + health have gone through some major changes and it makes for a pretty discomforting relationship at times. But moments like these reassure me that we’re probably doing something right in raising these babies. And that’s absolutely enough. ❤️

A morning at @nationalgallerysingapore for the LOEWE FOUNDATION Craft Prize 2026 exhibition, which brings together 30 shortlisted works of extraordinary craft from around the world (there’s so many Asian artists featured!), each of which push the boundaries of contemporary craft.
A huge congratulations to Singaporean artist @aduhlene on being one of the 30 artists whose works are on display.
The exhibition runs from now till 14 June 2026 and admission is free.

West Lake was beautiful but the crowds were not it. Still worth a stroll through the gardens for the gorgeous blooms, especially given how stunning the weather was that day. We arrived at the start of the Long Jing tea picking season and got to try some of the wonderfully fragrant tea. What surprised me the most was how many different birds we saw throughout our stay and how the air around our hotel was always filled with such wondrous and varied bird song, especially in the evenings.
