I never planned on becoming an entrepreneur After grad school, I worked as a Registered Dietitian in a bariatric office while teaching Pilates on the side… eventually teaching 25+ classes a week on top of my hospital job. I was exhausted, burnt out, and constantly trying to figure out what I was building toward The funny part is I have basically zero formal business background. I took exactly one economics class in college before switching out of it šŸ˜… Everything I know about business came from real-world experience, trial and error, business podcasts while cooking dinner every night, investing in mentors/coaching, and being willing to learn as I went At the same time, I’ve also been deeply immersed in the Pilates industry for the last 10 years. I’ve seen what this industry looked like before Covid, how dramatically it shifted during the online fitness boom, and where it’s heading now. That combination of industry experience + self-taught business education completely changed the trajectory of my life Over time, I realized I wanted more than just teaching more classes. I wanted to build something that could help more people and eventually help other instructors too That vision turned into Pilates By Leah and now Pilatespreneur. šŸ¤ And somehow… the girl with no business background became an entrepreneur who genuinely loves what she gets to do every single dayšŸ™šŸ¼ thanks for being a lot for the ride 🤩 Cohort 1 is underway and I am already so proud of this group of 10 amazing women for going above and beyond… ALREADY. The Pilates world has some really incredible platforms launching this summer, just you wait. #pilatespreneur #pilatesbyleah #pilatesinstructor #reformerpilates #pilatesclassplan

Your clients can feel the difference between choreography and teaching šŸ«¶šŸ¼ There are plenty of places instructors can go to find exercises. But knowing what to teach and knowing how to teach are two completely different skill sets A client doesn’t stay because you gave them the hardest class they’ve ever taken. They stay because they felt successful, challenged with intention, and genuinely coached through the movement That’s why inside the Instructor Tips category on Pilates By Leah, I focus so heavily on teaching instructors how to teach…how to structure classes, what to look for, how to coach movement, how to build confidence in clients, and how to create classes that actually get results Because great instructors do more than lead exercises! They create an experience clients want to come back to šŸ¤žšŸ¼ Hit the šŸ”— on my page for a 7-day free trial to Pilates by Leah and learn all the tricks to becoming a confident teacher #PilatesByLeah #PilatesInstructor #pilates #ReformerPilates #pilatesclassplan

One of the easiest ways to make a beginner class feel elevated… isn’t by throwing in advanced choreography šŸ‘‡šŸ¼ it’s by introducing familiar exercises in fresh, intentional ways Even something as classical as mermaid can become: ā–Ŗļømore engaging ā–Ŗļømore dynamic ā–Ŗļømore stabilizing ā–Ŗļømore effective for body awareness and mobility That’s exactly the approach behind our newest class plan on Pilates By Leah: Beginner Flow Simple transitions. Thoughtful progressions. Creative movement without overwhelming your clients Perfect for instructors who want beginner classes that still feel interesting to teach ✨ Comment TRIAL and I will send you 7-days free to my Pilates app to help you teach with more confidence OR Hit the šŸ”— on my page to trial Pilates by Leah free for 7-days and discover just how confident you can feel teachingšŸ¤ #PilatesByLeah #PilatesInstructor #pilates #ReformerPilates #pilatesclassplan

Comment ā€œSWEATā€ and I will send you a free reformer workout from Pilates by Leah šŸ‘‰šŸ¼ our Short Box FlowšŸ“± There’s a huge difference between moving through an exercise and actually controlling it If your clients can’t stabilize their pelvis, control rotation, or maintain tension while changing positions, adding harder choreography won’t fix itšŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø That’s why I love programming classes that challenge: -deep core control -hip stability -adductor strength -coordination under instability THAT’S what creates the shakešŸ§‚ Our newest workout on Pilates By Leah is one of my favorite examples of this style of programming lately šŸ‘‰šŸ¼ Abs, Booty, & Inner Thigh Hit the šŸ”— on my page to trial Pilates by Leah free for 7-days and discover just how confident you can feel teachingšŸ¤ #PilatesByLeah #PilatesInstructor #pilates #ReformerPilates #pilatesclassplan

Comment ā€œPLANā€ and I will send you a free class plan from Pilates by LeahšŸ“± Are we chasing choreography… or are we chasing results for our clients? I see so many instructors trying to make their classes feel ā€œadvancedā€ by adding more…more exercises, more transitions, more complexity, but that’s not what actually gets clients results Getting better at cueing, keeping it simple, and building movements over time will take your classes so much further than fancy choreography your clients can’t even build up to A well-taught, controlled basic exercise done right will challenge your clients more than something complicated every time If you want a class plan you can teach this week that actually works, I got you! Most instructors don’t struggle with what to teach They struggle with when to teach it Advanced bridges aren’t the problem…Rushing into them is If your clients haven’t built: • spinal articulation • weight shift control • stability through rotation …the movement won’t land the way you want it to And more importantly, they won’t feel it where they should When you slow it down and layer the progression, everything changes. This is exactly how I structure my class plans so your clients feel successful in advanced work…not overwhelmed by it ✨ Check out my newest class plan on Pilates by Leah for this advanced bridging sequence - Advanced Full-Body Sculpt 🌟 Comment BRIDGE and I’ll send you a free trial to Pilates by Leah šŸ¤šŸ“± #PilatesByLeah #PilatesInstructor #pilates #ReformerPilates #pilatesclassplan

Pilates instructor take šŸ‘€ I went into this curious but cautious. There are so many new ā€œversionsā€ of Pilates right now, and not all of them actually hold up when it comes to control and real strength What stood out to me with @tonal is the progression You still get the control Pilates is known for, but now you can actually adjust and track the resistance. So you know if you’re getting stronger, instead of just going off feel. And from a Pilates perspective, this actually feels closer to a tower than a reformer. The resistance is independent, not tied to a moving carriage, which changes how you control the movement. Reformer Pilates is still a staple for me, but if your goal is to build strength you can measure and progress over time, this is a really interesting way to do it at home. Questions? Ask me belowšŸ‘‡šŸ¼ ps: Tonal has a sale happening right now, $750 off on tonal.com Loops: @reformerloops x @tonal Fit: @splits59 x @tonal #TonalPartner #PowerProgress

Want to feel confident teaching? Comment PLAN and I’ll send you one of our most popular class plans on Pilates by Leah to tryšŸ“± You don’t need heavier springs to level up your arm work…Remove stability instead Kneeling > seated Split stance > parallel Single arm > both arms Add rotation. Change levels. Same movement. Way more demand. This is how I build progressions inside our newest workout Intermediate Full-Body | Live on Pilates by Leah šŸ¤ **PbL has memberships for both Pilates instructors AND non-instructors (Workout-Only) #PilatesByLeah #PilatesInstructor #pilates #ReformerPilates #pilatesclassplan
