🎶 Feel the music! 🎶 This is what I would have told to my younger self. However this is not that easy... 🥵 When starting to dance you first need to have some moves then little by little understand the music, the beats, the different rythms and the energies inside 💫 Only then only you can catch the accents, play with the energy of the movements whatever it is (e.g. speed, range, sharp/flowy) and predict what is going to happen next 😎 This requires time but can be achieved while actively listening to the music. Keep going! 💪 💯 Some tips: you can try to identify the different layers, isolate the instruments, catch the vibe/mood, count in your head, tap with your fingers. 📽️ Back to this demo: we wanted to try a dynamic song this time and discovered this beauty 4 days before. We had to dance it 😝 🌊 I thought it would be hard but in the end I just let the music flow inside of me and transmitted my interpretation of it to my partner. No pressure, no "I have to do everything on 1234", no counting. 🫵 You can do it too, you can be faster than the music, slower, waiting, interpreting. You don't even need to start on 1 🙈 BUT you have to know where it is and be conscious of what you do 👌 Thanks to all the students who joined us! 👏 Our energy in the demo came from you.
