Hey everyone, just a quick message to anyone that checked out the new record - THANK YOU so much for all the support with this one. I know it's a bit different than what some people were expecting. I'm already working on some new shit too.
I still have plenty of SUBMERSUS back vinyl available at loweryourhead.com
I should have the vinyl in a few weeks so orders that contain subby vinyl will begin shipping out as soon as I have them here. Shirt orders will start shipping early next week. Tape and CD's got super fucked so I don't even have an eta for those unfortunately. I'll obviously keep everyone updated on that as I get more info.
Anyways, thanks again y'all

Hell - Submersus / 15 of 30
The return of Hell felt downright apocalyptic. It had been years since Hell had terrorized the underground with its uncompromising brand of blackened sludge metal the likes of which could block out the very sun.
Where plenty brought grandeur to the genre yet again in 2025, "Submersus" was and is easily one of the most potent creations of the sound since its announcement. A voracious exploration of unyielding, carnivorous darkness the likes of which cannot easily be snuffed out by a mere glimmer of light, Hell yet again brought its A-game to shatter much of the competition and show us the act's teeth are still razor sharp.
Having been an underground darling for several years now, Hell more than capitalized on its reputation, talent, and raw menace with everything that was summoned throughout "Submersus".

I made a video for anyone interested in my quick mix process for the Yamaha AW1600 I’ve used on Hell I, II, III, and the self titled Hell albums. I’ve also been using this same machine to record 100’s more songs over the last decade.
This song is called SHAME. it has no release date and there are no plans regarding release yet.
You can watch the full mix on YouTube
#thanks
Drifting on waves of ruin, HELL creates some of the heaviest, most miserable doom known to the scene. Gritty and desolate, the vessel of HELL is steered by sole member MSW, who has led and shaped the project for a dizzying two decades. Repetitive cycles of guitar are juxtaposed against harsh vocals and climbing melodies, bringing a sense of dread to fleeting moments of beauty, the rot creeping into the spaces between sounds and taking root at the very base of the heart.
A HELL performance is one that takes up so very much of your energy - not because it’s frenetic or overtly energetic, but because it is so weighty and solemn, draining you, in a way. The catharsis that is felt at the end is one of desperate relief as you expel all hope and joy and face the truth of isolation, hopelessness, and grief. Lower your head. Be cleansed.
YOB at Neumos was exactly what I needed as the flood waters rose back home.
Hell set the tone, YOB held the room, and everything settled where it needed to.
