@lovework.studio gave Cadmus institutional credibility without institutional blandness, making the ed-tech platform feel at home in universities.
The solution: a quill logo animated with flourish, hand-drawn illustrations of modern students in renaissance scenes, and a colour palette picked from renaissance paintings.

We worked side-by-side with the Cadmus crew to consolidate the brand strategy, craft the identity, built the website and constructed the foundations for their future digital experience.
We designed the complete website, including detailed animations, product feature illustrations, case studies and ‘The Cadmus Chronicle’. We provided a strong digital design system that is now being applied across their product experience.
The brand, website and digital platform reflect the universities they work with – an uplifting experience for educators, and students who use their platform.

The Cadmus brand, with its sense of calm authority, sits naturally within university environments. To accompany the regular events run by the team across campus buildings and auditoriums, we crafted a comprehensive experience kit including presentation animations, case study magazines, educational materials, hanging banners and premium merchandise, including notebooks and writing implements. Everything has been designed to elevate the experience for academics and administration staff who attend their events.
Cadmus are an ed-tech platform providing end-to-end assessment solutions for universities across Australia, UK and US. Assessment delivered well can have a profound impact on the results of students and makes the lives of educators easier. Cadmus elevate assessment for both educators and students through their comprehensive and smart product.
We worked collaboratively with the Cadmus team over a 9 month period, transforming all aspects of their brand including strategy, identity, digital design, website, social, communications and events. Uplifting Assessment.
The refreshed brand, with its sophisticated and holistic aesthetic, comes closer to the visual cues of the universities who use the platform. The quill logo has been refined and now moves as if wielded by a busy academic.
The colour palette uses rich tones, picked from renaissance era paintings, a time when education thrived. The illustrations, illuminated by hand, add some fun by picturing modern day academics in classical garb.

Veed makes it easy for anyone to make great videos online and share them with the world.
The creative phase for this project was expansive and we explored different styles and angles for the identity, bouncing ideas back and forth with the Veed crew. Sabba, founder of Veed, has always been passionate about DIY video, VHS tapes, and home production kit because it represents the moment in time when anyone could make video.
We embraced this ‘VeedHS’ style for the identity, incorporating neutral grey backgrounds, high contrasting black & white shades, rainbow spectrums from TV test cards, bold sans-serif and italic type and an iconic rotating, glassy V logo like a roll of film running through a cinema camera.
The Veed team are continuing to expand and evolve their brand, incorporating new technologies and creating a seriously awesome product for anyone who wants to get their content seen.
Veed is for video. Anyone can make a great video with this super easy online platform, packed with smart features.
This glassy super graphic logo references rolling film and it perfectly fills the 16:9 proportion as it rotates. The glassy effect harks back to cinematic epics and the golden era of filmmaking - now available to anyone.
Veed is one of the most popular video editors online. They offer everything from simple video editing, mp4 compression and an expanding list of AI tools. They make it easy for content creators to make awesome content without the need for expensive video editing software.
During the strategy phase we collaborated with the Veed team to define a proposition that supported emerging professions who are getting their businesses and ideas out there for the world to see. With Veed, it’s never been easier to ‘Get Seen’.
The identity references DIY video aesthetics from old VHS covers and camcorder production kit.
The shockingly bright identity for Powershop borrows cues from computer games, value stickers and the grocery store. A delightful and unexpected mashup that celebrates how thousands of power shoppers shop for power in the power shop. What a mouthful.
Everyday shopping items represent power that you can buy in advance, saving tons of money with Powershop compared to the default tariffs from other power suppliers.
