Thanks again to @trust.support @li_na_lai_sim @calsbot for hosting our first Linux Image Love Letter last night! It was a special feeling to flip through the @cyberneticslibrary that frankly intimidated me last summer when I was at Trust for @0x.salon and find 10 books from our collection on Spines, then to realize I knew our Spines shelf from memory. It is an invitation into Hal and Whisper’s ongoing open source infrastructure project called Homelab. If, as Melanie Hoff tells us, ‘the Cloud is just someone else’s computer,’ they offer a server as a computer we use together. You are invited to contribute PDFs to their mobile library on themes of cybernetics, love, play, and networked culture. Just as servers are computers we use together, study is a collective act and ideas are social things. Hal and Whisper are Resonant.love — a duo based in Los Angeles working in software, hardware, and wetware (ritual) for digital homemaking.
