SHABBA presents Soul Fire - a new quarterly night of LIVE music & DJs - psych funk, roots reggae, jazz, disco and beyond - at the mighty Walthamstow Trades Hall!
The night proudly features….
TASHKEZAR
Dubbed as one of the most exciting acts rising on the UK’s global music scene, they blend psych guitars, funk-driven bass, Balkan brass, synths and ecstatic Arabic vocals into Baladi Funk – a high-energy collision of vintage Egyptian pop, Anatolian rock and global groove.
Made up of musicians from Egypt, Uzbekistan, the UK and the US, they bring a euphoric and tribal energy to the dancefloor. With frontwoman Mariam, shaped by Cairo’s underground scene, delivers sharp, defiant lyrics - turning upheaval and displacement into body movement and pure joy!
LOVE CLOUD

LUA SOL
Talented 5 piece that effortlessly mix r&b, soul and jazz into their own unique sound. They released their debut EP ‘Alcove Moon’ at the end of 2025 and are gaining momentum on the London live music scene.
Throughout the night and till close the SHABBA DJs will be providing a complementary soundtrack of deep cuts and belters from their vaults of music.
