Krypton doesn’t glow evenly. At certain voltages and pressures, the plasma forms striations, small bands of intensified ionization that appear as moving beads inside the tube. What looks like a continuous line is actually oscillating and uneven. I’m drawn to krypton for this reason. It makes the structure inside the light visible. #lightart #neonart #installationart #contemporaryart

Sandbox Percussion’s ‘Canto Ostinato’ is a 75+ minute, evolving, audio-responsive @touchdesigner composition created by @candystations and @louiselessel . It is an homage to the visual music canon, honoring the revolving, open structure of Simeon ten Holt’s singular work through light, shadow, and instrumental architecture. Canto Ostinato radiates warmth, spaciousness and luminosity. Built on chiming pulses and expansive harmonic shifts, the graphic score braids freedom within an undulating grid, inviting each performer’s interpretation within a shared framework and collective meditation. The visual system unfolds in a cyclical arc, expanding and contracting over time through phases of density and minimalism, symmetry and unhinge through repetition, variation, and evolution over duration. The graphic universe is drawn directly from the instruments themselves: the sol of the mallet, the sweep of the marimba, the beams of bars and resonant surfaces, transforming them into living graphic notation. Performers’ shadows and audio-responsive light are integral to the composition, alternating and evolving alongside the sound. Canto Ostinato premiered at Lincoln Center in June 2025 for @runningamoc and will tour in 2026. We look forward to sharing it with the world. NEBULAH x uberørt x NATURE Første nedslag, september 2025, Basement Residency. Nyt visuelt album udkommer i foråret 2026! Med støtte fra @statenskunstfond , @tuborgfondet , @kodakultur , @danskartistforbund , @dmf_danskmusikerforbund og spillestedet Godset (@godsetkolding ) er dette starten på et større projekt, der frem mod 2026 udfolder sig som et visuelt album. Projektet strækker sig på tværs af venues, koncertformater, installationer, spatial lyd, ud i extended realities og audioreaktive universer. I synergi mellem musik og visuals bevæger vi os under live-oplevelsen gennem et landskab, hvorfra vi møder naturens ustyrlige vildskab og foranderlighed, og herefter langsomt mod en verden af surrealisme, glitches og abstraktion. Koncerten på Basement d. 25/9 var første nedslag og foregik i samarbejde med @nature_theartist gennem det globale musikinitiativ @soundsright.earth og Museum for the United Nations - UN Live, @museumfortheun . Held annually in Barcelona, @sonarfestival is one of the world’s leading festivals at the intersection of music, technology, and digital art. Its Project Area is the beating heart of Sónar+D: an open, interactive exhibition where radical ideas, bold design, and experimental tech collide in unforgettable ways. It’s here that Protopica: Neurogenesis will come to life: a multi-sensorial, mind-responsive experience shaped by brain-computer interfaces and generative systems. Through a one-of-a-kind feedback loop between self and machine, visitors embark on a nonlinear journey guided by memory, emotion, and ancestral echoes.
