Danby Castle became a dark, enchanted forest for Lou & Muz’s gothic-meets-Disney wedding. 🌲🖤✨
They walked to orchestral versions of When You Wish Upon A Star and Rainbow Connection, wove their own handfasting cords, and sealed it with bourbon from a bottle Muz had been saving for years. Guests toasted with whiskey shots while Married Life from Pixar’s Up played them back down the aisle.
The reception carried the woodland magic forward: moss, ivy, rum favours, black-foiled chocolates, and tables named after their favourite places. “We didn’t skip many traditions,” Lou said, “but we did them all our way.”
