Big accomplishment for me! After making the reel about my mural idea for the lovely @malvernhillsflorist florist… I was able to actually bring my idea to life 🥹 This is the first mural I’ve done and I’m incredibly thrilled by it all, and also so thankful to Kath for trusting me and allowing me to do my thing. It’s been such a fun experience and I’ve learnt a lot along the way. From building scaffolding, to painting 15ft in the air, talking with lots of lovely locals and discovering how annoying concrete can be to paint on, I’ve honestly enjoyed every minute! Very proud of myself and so excited to do lots more murals in the future!! Hold tight for the process video!! And yay for cheerful colour being brought to the world 🥰💕🌸🌼🌺🌷💐 @malvernhillsflorist

Finally getting round to sharing the amazing project I was part of with @stockwellparkcommunitytrust as part of my own student-led mural project with @lsomuralism , led by @artmongers !
I moved to Stockwell about four months ago and have spent the time since getting to know my new local community and they’ve welcomed me with open arms 🤗 We developed a design that included everyone’s input and reflects the community centres open and welcoming nature. A big woven, inclusive family. I spent five days painting with a lot of encouragement from locals, and some lovely lovely helpers! A big thank you to Julie who is just one of the vital people who run the centre. She gave me a big YES when I asked to paint the wall, and devotes her time to helping everyone who walks through the door. This project has filled me with immense pride, and working with people on uplifting projects like this is what really fulfils me. #SW9 💛
This project was part of the London School of Muralism @lsomuralism course. And the opportunity would have never arisen without it! A special thanks to Patricio @artmongers who leads and directs the course. Thank you for the constant guidance and support not only with my project but with the course entirely! A final and big big thank you to anyone who donated to my crowdfunder for this project! I was able to buy a range of paints and brushes and it was a massive financial help to give some new artwork to the community centre. So much appreciation x

Hello folks! In a few weeks time I am painting a new mural at Stockwell Community Trust! I have been working closely with locals to develop a design and it’s almost time to paint! Spray painting session yesterday lead by the very talented @shauna.anseo ! I’ve never picked up a can before and it’s safe to say I really struggled with this one. As someone who only paints with brushes, I just couldn’t get the hang of spray painting and having less control. And the dripping was driving me insane 😆 I’m glad I’ve tried it, and would definitely like to keep trying at it and to improve! I’m super proud of the rest of the team of muralists who created some beautiful pieces though! @lsomuralism

Had lots of fun last Saturday learning the doodle grid method with @lsomuralism ! I’ve never tried this trick before but it worked super well to get an accurate, large scale transfer of an image! This will come in handy for my canvas paintings too 😄
