Hello hello hello… Frankie has an update to share so listen up!
Last summer we noticed a major decline in workshop ticket sales during the summer months. We get it, everyone wants to be outside. We wanna be outside too! However, it was really challenging and required us to find new ways to keep the lights on at Lot’sa. This year we’re going to pause (most) summer workshop programming for the summer.
Fear not – you can still take our most popular class – Gouache Landscaping Painting with @lillycarrart this summer!
Here’s what else we’re up to:
✽ Gallery Openings!!! We have some really compelling art shows coming up at Lot’sa. Come out and meet new people, add to your collection, and get inspired.
✽ Independent Risograph Projects – We have a new session of our 5 week riso class starting 6/3. Join this session to learn how to use the machine and make your dream project a reality.
✽ Group Draw – We have group draw every third Thursday for $0 – $15.
✽ Work With Friends – Join us for coworking most Fridays. $15 gets you coffee, bubbly water, wifi, outlets, and workspace.
✽ We are looking for a few new Risograph Studio Mates. Join our small but growing artist community at Lot’sa and make consistent work on our Risograph machine.
✽ We are still taking your custom Risograph printing jobs. Send us your ideas and we’ll make it happen. 🙂
✽ Did you know you can book Lot’sa for private events? Email us about your baby shower, bday party, corporate outing, or crafty meetup.

Hi Quilt-a-Thon!! Participating blockmakers have their supplies and have the next few weeks to assemble their blocks and get them back to us. Behind the scenes, we will be piecing the queen-sized quilt to prep it for our HAND QUILTING DAYS! The first of which will be hosted with @lotsa.fun on May 30 from 11am-6pm, and the second will be hosted with @needleworkcollective in Audrey’s backyard on June 7 from 12pm-7pm. Only about 7-8 quilters can fit around the frame, so sign up for your timeslot at the link in our bio for Lot’sa; for Audrey’s backyard, drop by whenever, and BYOProject in case the frame is full. Don’t be shy! Beginners welcome, and we will teach you!!
~~ As a reminder, we are giving this queen-size quilt away once finished! So use the links in our bio to make a donation to the Midwest Immigration Bond Fund (suggested $25 donation) and then sign up for the drawing to take home the quilt!! You do not need to work on the quilt to enter the drawing :) ~~
