I’ve got some new followers so I thought I’d reintroduce myself. My name Lo, my pronouns are they/them and I’m an artist, curator and educator who is both aggressively Midwestern and unapologetically black
In my practice, I’m a multi disciplinary memory worker. I currently in process of launching a small independent press ( keep an eye out ✨.) I believe collaboration is at the root of liberation, let’s print stuff together.
This is a pro-Black, pro-queer, pro-hoe space. I splash around in the radical uses of anger, pleasure and rest.
Free 🍉 and DRC and all seeking justice + freedom

outside of celebrating my baby (book 🥹📚) one of the most thrilling things about touring is getting to engage my truly brilliant friends & collaborators in conversation about the themes SOULMATE AS A VERB seeks to interrogate: love | kinship | politics of the body | masculinity | the material conditions of modernity | us 💭
i’m so hype to be joined in conversation by my incredibly talented friend @losmithstudios at my nyc tour stop, hosted by @bgsqd on may 17th. join ya boy in the big apple !
i hope these poems find you x
