After the rain, is the sun. The rain cleansed my tears, the sun has scorched has scorched my doubts into assurance.
I have no reason to fear, I have no reason to second guess, but it's still a journey, life's an annoying maze..but the skies, the seeming thrill of seeking, makes it more bearable. I can't ignore my shadow, I can't lock my five senses in a box. Because I and the heavens and the earth, have an agreement.

The power of seasons and balance can't be over emphasized.
It's hard being a socially conscious artist, because you take the pains of people, environment, situations and the world, and make them your own. But then again.. it's reward transcends life times. It was good preaching @lagosfringe

A woman who is aware of her own baggage, her own virtues and vices, but still strives for excellence, should be celebrated.
Women are natural polymorphs. They have the ability to have many abilities, don't disrespect them. They can be hard and soft at the same time, fire and ice at the same time.Like ala the Igbo goddess of the Earth, they can birth possibilities and impossibilities. A woman isn't afraid of a problem, because she knows a million creative ways to solve it .if it seems too difficult, she bares it and tries to live with it. But trust me, she's silently concocting a blueprint on how to make life suitable for her and her loved ones she has vowed to protect. Put some respect on their name and gender.

The Artvocacy Movement Lagos delivered an amazing performance on April 13 at the TAEF Conpetition Auditions 2026 held at The Muson Centre, Lagos Island.
It was a blend of dance and poetry, to render a powerful message themed around gender based violence and the costly inactions of a hypocritical passive society.
TheGift explores emotions of Fear, Panic, Confusion, Abuse, Trauma and Death within her lines and expressions as the dancers relate their steps to visualize and amplify the message
It ends with an applause from the audience and a positive feedback from the judges.
We are more than performers.
We are storytellers, truth-tellers, change-makers.
Every step carries a message.
Every movement holds meaning.
Art is not just what we do,
it is how we advocate.

ONA came alive… and so did every story we carry within us.
What we witnessed was more than a performance — it was a reflection of lives, choices, fears, and the courage to begin again. Some stories were told… and some were deeply felt. ONA was both.
ONA is no longer just a vision — it is now a lived experience. An experimental work, still growing, still unfolding… and this was its first breath.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who showed up, supported, and believed in this journey. You didn’t just watch it — you became part of the story. 🤍
