“IRA.” 👹 Part of Pink Mindset and Lemon Ears, a collaborative project rooted in the generative logic of Cadavre Exquis, created with @josecbs_404 ✨Ceramic sculpture created during the residency at @longquanceramicresidency 🩷 The anatomy of anger.
• Head (Lora): The head draws from contemporary digital culture, specifically the exaggerated “an-gry face” meme of SpongeBob SquarePants, capturing the absurdity and intensity of sudden rage.
• Torso (Jose): The torso depicts a woman in a confrontational stance, her hand transformed into a large, accusing finger. Hidden behind her, the other hand takes the form of a Doberman’s head- a metaphor for how hands become weapons during a con-flict. It represents stored aggression and the impatience that accumulates as an argument escalates.
• Legs (Lora): The legs are set in a tense, aggressive stance, captured in the mid-motion of stomping on the floor, ready for a physical or emotional fight. ✨🕺🏼🧚🏻♀️👹

Lora Nestorova
10.06 – 30.06 | @charta.art.gallery
A mythic world sculpted in ceramic. Lora Nestorova’s graduation project bridges ancient Aztec and Mayan legends with personal memory, reimagining gods as vivid archetypes. Divided into two series – colorful figures of sacrifice and monochrome visions of apocalypse – her works explore the cycles of death, rebirth, and everything in between.
Ceramics as myth, emotion as ritual.
Don’t miss it.
