A year ago I wouldn’t believe what I’m about to say.. I understand, that, considering my age, my best friends for now should be Mozart, Handel and other kings of lighter repertoire (and they are), but.. I MISS SINGING WAGNER😄 (as much as I miss my incredible colleagues of course🥹)

Yesterday I had an honor of performing in one of the most beautiful theaters, in Gran Teatre del Liceu @liceu_opera_barcelona at the Opera XXI Awards ceremony @operaxxi , where our young artist program in Valencia was honoured as the Best Cultural Institution!! (Very well deserved, I must say🤓)
So many outstanding artists, musicians and cultural figures gathered in the hall yesterday, and it was such a good reminder, that there is nothing greater or more important than true art..
My special gratitude goes to @bayo_maria , who believes in us and invests so much in our growth. And of course, my warmest congratulations to @lesartsvalencia , under the highly professional guidance of @jesusiglesiasnoriega , to my studio friends and to everyone involved!

after coming home from the theater today I felt like sitting at the table and singing something for myself. the inspiration came from the beautiful and sad song “Alfonsina y el mar” which has the real story of Argentine poet Alfonsina Storni behind it.
In 1938, struggling with illness and inner pain, she walked into the sea and ended her life.

We @lesartsvalencia are coming back to @gva_ivam with a beautiful program very soon. And while preparing new repertoire I am feeling nostalgic for our previous concert in October.
I remember I just arrived to Valencia at that time, was introduced to all these beautiful songs and felt the healing effect of music and poetry at its best.
Can’t wait to perform again in a place, where art speaks. 9th of May! 🥰

and just like that, in the blink of an eye, our out of this world production of “Giulio Cesare” has come to an end..
it’s no secret that i’m crazy about baroque music, and i can’t put into words how surreal it feels to be “upgraded” from being a fan of every person in the cast, from absolutely annoying my friends FOR YEARS with “oh how i wish to sing with Marc Minkowski one day” to suddenly making music and theatre with all of them at once (and even more than that- in a production of THE Vincent Boussard and in costumes by THE Christian Lacroix)!!!
my heart is full, my headphones haven’t stopped blasting Handel ever since the shows finished, and i feel inspired, thankful and BLESSED!!
