In 2019, I embarked on a journey towards sustainable and transparent fashion, pledging to buy nothing new and documenting my daily updates on Instagram. This commitment marked the start of my advocacy and activism work within the circular fashion world. What started as a side hustle and hobby blossomed into a passion for buying, selling, loaning, and swapping clothes, all while fostering a circular fashion ecosystem. The catalyst for my transformation was the stark realisation of the unsafe and poverty-ridden conditions prevalent in the garment industry, epitomized by the tragic Rana Plaza disaster which happened on this day 11 years ago! Since 2019 I have dedicated myself to educating and empowering others to embrace ethical fashion practices. I firmly believe that through self-education, collective action, and the promotion of ethical standards, individuals hold the power to effect meaningful change in the fashion industry. April Fits: Deeply stylish or lightly unhinged? 1. Got Juanita’s Alemais, then Bec got Juanita’s Alemais so naturally I had to get Deidre’s Alemais. Circular fashion but make it sisterhood. 2. Nothing to see here, just brand new with tags Saba pants, a stripy shirt and a mohair knit living their best life. 3. Accidentally bringing back the Teddy Boys movement one outfit at a time. 4. Another outrageous find: Kabali set paired with my vintage Just Jeans trench. Tiny bit obsessed. 5. Same outfit, upgraded with my new-to-me silver Guccis that have lived on my wishlist rent free for years! 6. House dress, snacks and fabulous company. Frankly, that’s wellness. 7. Giving this Alemais silhouette a whirl. Requires big mama undies! 8. Girlfriend needs a brush.. 9. INNIKA FOREVER. No notes. 10. Double denim thanks to Armani and vintage denim doing a beautiful little handshake. 14. Pink and red forever. 15. Animal print and Alemais. Etc, etc. 16. Old Spell. Still ridiculously pretty. 17. We escaped to the Northern Rivers hinterland for a slow, sun-soaked reset 🌿 1 - Packing rule: coast or country = that @innikachoo frock I got from the @lovemeagainmarket did the heavy lifting 2- Book the stay with flower beds… trust me 3- 30-something degrees? Swimmers on repeat, no notes 4- Aperol + Lilly King = autumn that feels like summer unofficial uniform 5-Rolling hills, a @little_tienda frock, and my @lackofcoloraus hat era is officially here 6 - Kim’s flowers, straight from Kim’s garden… actual magic 7- Bare-faced all week thanks to @thefunctionalskin - Gaya and I won a box full and I’m converted. Fresh skin, but better 8- Toxic trait: overpacking, under-wearing! The highlight? @spurfield_barn - A dreamy little hideaway hosted by the loveliest humans, Kim and Michael. No noise, no rush, barely any signal… just how we needed it. Close enough for a cheeky drive to @elthamhotelnsw & Clunes, Alstonville + Bangalow, but far enough to feel like you’ve disappeared for a while…

My circular fashion world lately… 1.Already wearing my winter layers and I don’t care what anyone says. 2.Oldie but a goldie: Alemais × animal print. 3.Pink + red + animal print for a delicious lunch thanks to @slurp_burmese 4.Expect to see this outfit a lot this year. If anyone wants to sell me the matching shorts, please let me know! 5.Another dreamy find from the @lovemeagainmarket . It’s too big for me but whatever. Size is irrelevant when you love something, right? 6.Concert fit. I wanted to be cool and comfortable, so I reached for linen and comfy shoes. 7.At home in the garden. I think I sold that dress at the last market… maybe? Don’t worry, I also have it in white lol. 8.My search for that beautiful Zimmermann is finally over.
