At last night’s @meetpeoplelikeus x @tiktok_uk event, our very own @anupparmar shared his full-circle journey from studying Sport Rehabilitation, to unexpectedly landing in media, to rediscovering his connection to sport through award-winning queer storytelling at his time at GAY TIMES. His work has championed LGBTQ+ visibility in traditionally hyper-masculine spaces, producing powerful campaigns with Channel 4 and more.
Now at LOOP, Anup continues to uplift independent publishers and purpose-led platforms, helping brands like Google, Sky, L’Oreal, Tesco and Hinge collaborate with the communities shaping culture today. A reminder that following your intuition can lead you exactly where you’re meant to be 👏👏.

Last weekend we were at @getyourkitsoutfestival with our partner @schuh a true celebration of women’s football, fashion and community.
A highlight for us was teaming up with the incredible @thatsewnicole . From holding a hands-on embroidery workshop where guests stitched and customised their own creations, to sharing her voice on the panel championing grassroots women’s football, Nicole embodied the spirit of collaboration, creativity and empowerment that GYKO is all about. 🪡 ⚽.
The day had so many standout moments: a buzzing grassroots market of independent sellers, inspiring conversations, DJ sets that kept the vibe high, and an iconic fashion presentation.

Such a proud moment seeing @anupparmar take the stage at @gaydio ’s Summer of Pride at Century Club.
He spoke about how community and culture are too often commoditised — and why brands need to move beyond tokenism to build trust and real representation.

What a day at Madfest! 💥 We kicked things off by watching our brilliant advisor Lianre Robinson on the @wacl2 panel, where she spoke powerfully about how embracing a potential-first approach can break barriers, accelerate women into leadership, and make true meritocracy possible — joined by Jennifer Finch from Amazon and Pradeep Duggal from Bupa.
Then we dived into an inspiring talk with Diageo’s Global Luxury Culture & Entertainment Lead, all about the power of micro-communities and running campaigns that actually matter.
Oh — and we even squeezed in a fun game (competitive, obviously) and a surprise meet-and-greet with the one and only Mummy Pig 🐷✨

Day 2 at Cannes : LOOP attended Pinterest ’s Manifestival, centered around celebrating creativity and community. One of LOOPs amazing community leaders, Nicole Chui @thatsewnicole , hosted an exclusive workshop to create custom made bag charms as part of Pinterest’s activations. Nicole is not only an artist, but also the co-founder of @baes_fc a football team for those of Asian heritage. This workshop inspired creativity whilst also encouraging collaboration and meaningful discussions.
LOOP is proud to support @pinterest in their commitment to uplifting emerging artists and underrepresented voices. Events like this showcase the power of creative platforms and we are honoured to have been a part of this.
