Luna came into my life seven years ago and filled a void I didn’t know needed filling. She gave me a new and unfamiliar purpose in life, one that was fun and that I loved. She quickly became my entire world, and everything I did, I did for her in heart and in mind. I promised her that I would give her the best life I could, and I know she felt that from me. I felt that from her too. Luna made the smallest of moments feel like the biggest of moments; that was her superpower. We got to travel together to the ocean, through the desert, and to the mountains; she was the best companion. We were connected. She wasn’t supposed to leave this soon. We had a lot left to experience together, and we weren’t done yet. That’s the hardest part to accept. I miss her energy, her enthusiasm, her expressive mannerisms, and her stare. I’ll remember every moment with her. There are many, and I want to soak in those moments forever. Face to the sun. Mama loves you, Tuni.

We’re so excited to share the 60s spot and select stills from the @playatgila Vegas Residency Campaign. The goal was to create something electric and entirely new, pushing the limits in every way and delivering a look and feel unlike any Gila spot before. After all, this campaign is about bringing Vegas to Phoenix. With anamorphic glass, bold filters, 16mm film grain, dazzling wardrobe, tons of confetti, and an edit that moves as fast as Vegas itself, it all came together to capture a true Vegas vibe right here in The Valley. A few months back we had the chance to work on a really fun project for @azlottery . The concept was to make their scratchers literally explode cash. A challenge for sure, but so cool to see it come to life. We worked with @dickdorado and @michael.friendo for weeks ahead of time to perfect several practical effects. From cashguns to DIY cash canons, we were able to accomplish the task with minimal visual effects, even going as far as building an entire faux wall on location to make the final window shot a reality. Of course, we still had to tie it all together with post production. With @tomjmccoy working alongside @sean_brehm on visual effects, the end result is seamless with composites and some sparks.
